An Overview of Gnosticism. Julian Websdale

We welcome back Julian Websdale as our speaker on Sunday March 12 at 2.30pm.

Julian Websdale is a metaphysical researcher, Fellow of the Theosophical
Society, and initiate of the Western Esoteric Tradition. Julian was born
in West Yorkshire, England, studied electronic and computer engineering
at the University of Bolton, and has since worked as an electrical
engineer. During 2010 Julian served in a Vaishnava monastery in
Lanarkshire, Scotland.

His Talk is entitled “An overview of Gnosticism”

“An analysis of the thought and practices of various cults of late
pre-Christian and early Christian centuries distinguished by the
conviction that matter is evil and that emancipation comes through
gnosis: Esoteric knowledge of spiritual truth held by the ancient
Gnostics to be essential to salvation.”
